To whom it may concern, I probably don't know what I am doing.
But isn't like that most of the time with most of professionals? I would say even with most people.
I have started this blog now probably because I feel a bit lost, and sharing my though process with you may help me organise my own thoughts. I have to excuse myself if you are reading this, because it's mostly about me, not you.
I have been a developer for a bit over 10 years now. Some recruiters say that my experience is impressive and sometimes I come up with solutions that I take pride of. It has been an interesting run across different companies, in different countries, in different languages (programming and spoken). But I never had the urge to write about it. Most of solutions are pretty well documented in the internet if you search well enough, and I did not think it would be worthy to create one more website that revolves around them.
It's true that frequently I don't quite like most of the code examples that I see around. I don't blame the authors, though. I just think that in many cases, they are too technology-specific to illustrate the point that they are trying to make, and not very didactic on how that solution can be applied in different contexts. Then, after a conversation with a good friend at work, she pointed out that I have an interesting asset: working in a English-Speaking environment and being fluent in Brazilian Portuguese. So, should I start publishing content about themes that I struggle to find in Portuguese, in the way I like to approach them, to my fellow Brazilian professionals?
Maybe I will. This is my attempt of starting something, putting an introduction and motivation to guide my own planning.
I hope good things come from there. See you.
